PWI – Withstand and Refine Sale! (The Charm Pack is Back!)

These sales will be active from September 21st at 1:00am server time until October 5th at 1am server time!

Charm Packs... if you were around the last time these items were available in the Boutique, then I offer you kudos, because it means you've been playing for over a year, making you a Perfect World veteran. These Charm Packs are truly a great deal - each one comes with a Charm Box  that contains either 5 Gold Guardian Charms or 5 Gold Spirit Charms. One really nice thing about the way this works is that right-clicking the box will only pull out one Charm at a time, meaning that you'll actually save a lot of inventory space by keeping the Charms in the box until you need them.

Want to be able to tank, heal, or grind more efficiently? Charms are some of the most useful items that you will encounter in all of PWI! Each Charm has a "reservoir" of either HP or MP, and it draws from this reservoir to replenish your character's HP or MP bars. Guardian Charms replenish your HP bar to 100% anytime it falls below 50% (10 second cooldown). Spirit Charms replenish your MP bar  to 100% anytime it falls below 75% (5 second cooldown)

And the best thing about the Charm Pack? Each one actually contains one Big Rainbow Egg!

The Big Rainbow Egg is actually a small chance box, and each one gives you the chance of obtaining that most majestic mount, the Goldmane Lion Lord! 

Those who aren't quite lucky enough to get the Goldmane, though, will still be able to score some Potions, Attack/Defense Charms, or Gems for their trouble.

1-Star Dragon Orbs, when used along with Mirage Celestones, will guarantee a successful refine from 0 to +1, and they can also be combined with each other to create even more powerful Dragon Orbs!

  Dragon Orb Ocean (In the Boutique until 10/5/2011)

Dragon Orb Ocean is a powerful item that only the most hardcore and players and merchants need consider-- This limited-time, ultra rare orb has a 100% chance to successfully increase an item's refinement level by 1, with the maximum refinement level at +10! This means that it can be used once before being consumed, and can refine an item from +2 to +3, from +7 to +8, or from +9 to +10 (remember, it can only be used for one of these)!  

For a look at the difference in power that you can expect to see, here are some examples of refined vs. unrefined gear. Please keep in mind that, in general, higher grade gear will experience a larger bonus effect from refinement than lower grade gear.
