Chienkun Stones
Warriors grow attached to their equipment. Your sword cleaves through countless wraith bodies, and your armor thwarts blow after blow to keep you safe. Knowing the importance of your gear, you put a lot of effort into making sure that it's constantly at peak performance. You refine it for extra power, add sockets for versatility, and imbue the finest gems into those sockets according to what you need to be successful.
Eventually, though, to continue getting stronger, you'll have to upgrade to an entirely new piece of gear. By doing this, however, you lose the Refinement, Sockets, and Gems that you worked so hard for.
This is where Chienkun Stones come in.
When used with standard gear at the PW Boutique Agent, Chienkun Stones allow you to transfer the refinement level from one piece of gear to another.
When used at the Palace of Nirvana Forges, Chienkun Stones can function with the Recast and Quench tabs to keep not only the refinement level, but also the sockets and gems from your old gear to transfer it to your new piece as you upgrade to Nirvana-quality!
As a final function, Chienkun Stones can also work in the standard refinement process as a sort of insurance-- When using them, a failed refine will not incur the penalty of a drop in refinement level.
So don't lose your investment when upgrading to new equipment-- use Chienkun Stones.
Tienkang Stones
As you try to refine your gear to higher levels, the chances of failure increase. Tienkang Stones greatly increase the chance of a successful refine. They must be placed in the "Special Materials" box to be used.
Tisha Stones
Normally, failing a refine results in your gear reverting to its original unrefined state, that is, technically +0. Don't let this happen to your hard-won gear - instead use a Tisha Stone and rest assured that even in the worst-case scenario, your gear's refinement level will only fall one level instead of all of them. To use, place into the "Special Materials" box when refining.
