PWI – Engaging Easter Events!
Happy Easter everyone!
For this year's holiday we've got 2 great events that should keep you busy this weekend!
Events to take part in:
- Quiz Event (4/6 - 4/8 18:00 - 18:30 Server time)
- Archosaur Assaut (4/6 17:00 Server time)
- Easter Egg Design Contest (must be uploaded to the Fan Content "Events" section by Monday April 9th at 12pm PDT)

PWI Quiz Event
Think you know PWI? Like, really really know PWI? Like you can rattle off every World Boss drop backward and forward? While upside down in a shark tank? And one hand tied behind your back? No? Well that's ok. Wait, yes? Well now it's time to prove it. Sort of.
This weekend, as part of a very special addition to our game, we are holding the first-ever "PWI Quiz Event"!
What is the PWI Quiz Event? Why, it's the best show in town as well as your ticket to fame, fortune, and increased desireability!
How to take part:
1. Make sure it's Friday April 6th, Saturday April 7th, or Sunday April 8th.
2. Make sure you're somewhere between levels 20 and 105
3. Look at your watch (aka Server Time)
4. If your watch indicates a time between 6:00pm and 6:30pm head over to the Trivia Maiden in Archosaur (555, 626) or City of a Thousand Streams (131, 861). If your watch does not indicate a time between 6 and 6:30, go back to step 1.
5. Talk to the Trivia Maiden. There are actually two of them, each corresponding to a different level bracket-- One for levels 20-59 and the other for level 60+. Proceed to answer questions.
Merchant of Death (aka Trivia Maiden)
How it Works
The Trivia Maiden will ask you 15 PWI-themed questions. She will test you on a wide variety of subjects, from NPC locations to boss drops. These questions will be determined by your level, so you level 20's out there won't need to be well versed in things like the Warsong Uncertainty Principle or Pan Gu's Last Theorem.
For every correct answer, you will be awarded crazy amounts of EXP, Spirit, and a single box. This box is full of mysteries and well worth opening! For every incorrect answer you will receive nothing, and your family will be notified for shaming purposes!
Protip: If the Trivia Maiden is covered by other players (as if that would ever happen), simply mouse over her and (Shift+Click). This will allow you to target her without a problem.
So, we bid you good luck, and we hope you enjoy this new event! Also, take note, after this Sunday the event will go back into the PWE-vault, only to return under special circumstances, so don't forget to play!
Assault on Archosaur Event
For years, Archosaur's famed City Guard has kept thousands of Wraiths at bay just beyond its high walls. But that's only a half-truth. In fact, the Wraiths never really cared to enter it in the first place, preferring fresh air, wide-open spaces, and above all, peace and quiet.
And that's where the problem lies; the towering nearby city houses one of the greatest enemies to peace and quiet that the world has ever known: Duke Blacke, a man whose haltingly shrill voice has been known to travel for miles, angering every man and beast that it comes across.
Well, the Wraiths have had enough. They had a rough night last night, couldn't even sleep in this morning, and now they are out for blood. Royal blood. Led by numerous fearsome War Generals, the Wraiths will attack in force. They will have their rest, or they will die trying.
They will be leading one major assault, with multiple waves. They plan to strike this Friday. We will be ready.
Heroes of humanity, elfdom, beastkind, the underground, and the seas, though you may not approve of Duke Blacke's ways, he is still one of us. He still provides very useful knowledge in many fields, and his eternal strolls throughout the city are part of what make Archosaur what it is. Don't let the Wraiths take him from us.

Easter Egg Design Contest
Spring is finally here and Easter is nearly upon us, so to celebrate this holiday we're bringing back last year's ultra-popular contest-- an egg coloring competition!
This contest is quite simple-- all you have to do is take the egg template below...
...and color it however you like (as long as it's PWI-themed)! You can throw in characters, patterns, or anything else, and we here at PWE will be judging based on content, style, and just how aesthetically pleasing your entry is to the eye! And what's the prize, you ask? An extremely rare creature: The Giant Bunny Pet! He may look dangerous, but don't worry, he's just a slightly grouchy non-combat companion.

The Plan:
Design an PWI-themed egg for a chance to win a great prize for your character:
7 Winners will be chosen, and each will receive a Giant Bunny Pet on the PWI character of his or her choice!
Once you've finished your design, simply go to the PWI Fan Content page, and upload it to the Fan Art category!
The Rules:
Designs must use the egg template from this News Post. The size of the egg cannot be modified.
Designs must be submitted at the PWI Fan Content page by April 9th at 12:00PM PDT (don't forget to select "Fan Art" when submitting!)
Designs must be PWI-themed
Designs can be drawn or modified with image-editing software.
Designs cannot use any copyrighted materials outside of what can be found in Perfect World International.
Plagiarism or design theft will result in immediate disqualification and a possible DQ from future events.
Players can submit as many entries as they wish.
